Position Overview:
Taymar Sales Pro Carolina Ascent FC Group Sales Manager position will learn and expand his/her knowledge of the fundamentals of the sales process through group sales, new season ticket sales, and renewals across both USL League One and USL Super League teams. The Group Sales Manager position will receive training and development and be provided the opportunity for rapid career advancement to senior-level sales roles and leadership positions with added responsibility.

Position Overview:
Taymar Sales Pro Carolina Ascent FC Group Sales Manager position will learn and expand his/her knowledge of the fundamentals of the sales process through group sales, new season ticket sales, and renewals across both USL League One and USL Super League teams. The Group Sales Manager position will receive training and development and be provided the opportunity for rapid career advancement to senior-level sales roles and leadership positions with added responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Sell a full menu of ticket products for both Carolina Ascent FC and Charlotte Independence via outbound phone calls and face-to-face presentations including, but not limited to, season tickets, flex ticket packages, group tickets, premium tickets, and premium hospitality packages.
- Lead and execute group ticket sales strategies for Carolina Ascent FC, with additional support for Charlotte Independence and other organizational events
- Develop and grow group sales revenue through existing initiatives, new outreach strategies, and customized group ticket packages
- Identify and cultivate relationships with local businesses, schools, youth organizations, and community groups
- Create and implement innovative group sales campaigns and experiences to drive attendance and engagement
- Support season ticket membership efforts by identifying and converting group buyers into long-term customers
- Fulfill matchday responsibilities, including hosting and servicing group clients to ensure a high-quality fan experience
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required. All home matches will be worked in various capacities: prospecting appointments, sales tables, and match events.
- Build relationships in the community and expand business with current ticket holders and cold call new prospects and referrals to drive revenue.
- Build out, plan, prospect and execute large scale group sales initiatives.
- Work in the assigned onsite location on a daily basis as well as go on in person meetings out in the community.
- Deliver excellent customer service and cultivate relationships with current and future fans.
- Represent the QCSC department with the highest levels of character and integrity.
- Build internal relationships with the front office.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and monthly sales goals established by management team.
- Other related duties as assigned by the General Manager.
- 2-3 Years experience in a sports selling role, college or professional.
- Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in Sports Sales/Marketing or a related field.
- Comfort with making outbound phone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude and desire and ability to learn in a fast paced industry.
- Experience and success in an inside sales program or ticket sales role preferred.
- Strong drive to learn the sales process and grow your career rapidly.
