Position Overview: The Director of Ticket Sales & Operations at East Texas A&M will learn and expand his/her knowledge of the fundamentals of the sales process through group sales, new season ticket sales and renewals across all ticketed sports. The Director of Ticket Sales & Operations will receive training, development and be provided with the opportunity for rapid career advancement to Senior level sales roles, and leadership positions with added responsibility. This role also includes administrative and operational tasks, as well as supplementing existing ticket operations efforts.

This role also includes administrative and operational tasks, as well as supplementing existing ticket operations efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Sell a full menu of ticket products for East Texas A&M athletics via outbound phone calls and face-to-face presentations, including, but not limited to, season tickets, flex ticket packages, group tickets, premium tickets, and premium hospitality packages.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required. All ticketed home games will be worked in various capacities: prospecting appointments, sales tables and/or operations support.
- Build relationships and expand business with current ticket holders and cold-call new prospects and referrals to drive revenue.
- Work in the assigned on-site location daily as well as going on in-person meetings out in the community.
- Contact businesses, alumni and fans via outbound phone calls, appointments, and event-based selling.
- Build out, plan, prospect, and execute large-scale group sales initiatives in collaboration with the General Manager of Sponsorship Sales and ETAMU athletics.
- Deliver superior customer service to all current and future fans.
- Represent Taymar and East Texas A&M University with the highest levels of character and integrity.
- Build superior internal relationships with ETAMU athletics.
- Day to day oversight of ticket sales and operations strategy and execution for all ticketed athletic events.
- Manage all ticket operations tasks and box-office functions including building and managing all ticket system inventory and handling all deposits and reporting of ticket revenue
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and monthly sales goals established by the management team.
- Generate up to date sales reports to track all ticket revenue and pacing towards goals.
- Experience with Vivenu and/or ticketing CRM is desired.
- Oversee all gameday box office staff
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Sports Marketing or a related field.
- Comfort with making outbound phone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire and ability to learn in a fast-paced, highly competitive industry.
- Experience and proven success in an inside sales program or ticket sales role preferred.
- Strong drive to learn the sales process and grow your career rapidly.
